Middle school

While on a walk with my mom, I thought about how different things are in Middle School then in Elementary school but once you've made the change you forget what it was like, how different Middle school truly is. On this walk I remembered what it was like to have a cubby and folders, instead of a locker and a binder, having one teacher instead of 4 or 5. Or the smaller things that only a year after leaving you forget and strive to remember, but don't because at the time it didn't matter so you didn't bother.
This then reminded me of a 60 minutes piece on people who remember every single thing. Which prompts you to wonder, what if I remembered everything? Would it be good or bad? How would it make me feel? How would it have affected my life? Well I can answer the last one, most of the subjects with this ability did not have husbands or wives ( most/all being above the age of thirty) and the one that did was on her third. When answering a question about that one of the younger subjects responded by saying that when ever she thought about a break-up that had happened when she was in college, was fresh in her mind and just as painful as though it had just happened. I think that's really interesting, partly because I want to be a neurologist when I grow up but still, I think it's fascinating that something someone might classify as a super power exists with proof.

What do you think?
